Welcome back everyone. It's been a little while since my last post, and I apologize for the delay. Besides our obvious name change, I have also been pre-occupied with several large projects related to Joe's Beverage Warehouse, including some exciting new collaborations on the horizon (shhhh...it's still a secret). In any event, I am back and better than ever, sitting in front of my cheap laptop to tell you about some new beers that will be hitting our shelves this week! Cigar City: "White Oak Jai Alai" A few months back, Cigar City Brewing of Tampa, FL made our hearts flutter when they began distributing in Chicagoland. Now that the brewery has installed its mainstay lineup into our repertoire, it's time to spice things up a bit. Enter: "White Oak Jai Alai." This sophisticated spin on the brewery's flagship IPA involves an addition of white oak spirals into its brewing process, which leads to a finished product that has unmistakable hints

Craft Beer Power Rankings!

Welcome Back! This article, in which I rank the beers that we currently have in stock, is the start of something new that I thought of while speaking to some of my co-workers as we brainstormed new methods of speaking craft beer. How It Works: In "Craft Beer Power Rankings," we highlight our expansive collection of craft beers by first grouping our beers into categories based on style of beer (IPA, Stout, Sour, etc.) We then rank the top 10 beers that we currently have in stock in each group. We rank the beers by distilling several important pieces of information relating to each beer into one aggregate score. We calculate the scores of each beer based on a number of factors, including each beer's Untappd score, Rate Beer  score, and overall reputation of the brewery that brewed each beer.
